Boston Herald: Congress hopeful calls for limits on Feds

Lori Trahan spoke with Boston Herald’s Joe Battenfeld about her take on how to move the country forward, her disagreement with the Trump administration’s proposed handling of immigration enforcement and her belief in the value of women in leadership positions:

“I’ve never seen a more disruptive force in Washington than this administration, than this president. So you can get mad, and there’s plenty to be mad about. But it’s not enough to be mad. You have to want to be effective. You want to be able to figure out when to fight and when to resist, and when to force a discussion with the other party so we can move the country forward.”
