Lori Trahan’s statement on President Trump’s comments mocking Dr. Ford

MA-03 Democratic congressional candidate Lori Trahan released the following statement in response to the president’s comments about Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.

“At an important inflection point in our country, we need a President who will unite rather than divide, who will lead rather than go low.” Trahan said. “Trump’s recent mocking of Dr. Ford, a credible victim of sexual assault and, by all accounts, a true profile in courage, is outrageous. Moral high ground has been replaced with political partisanship at it’s worst, and is an egregious example of what’s wrong with Washington today.”
