Lori Trahan Campaign Announces Endorsement of Methuen Mayor Stephen N. Zanni
December 20, 2017 – Today, Lori Trahan’s campaign announced the endorsement of Stephen J. Zanni, Mayor of Methuen. With a population of more than 47,000 residents, Methuen is the 4th largest city in the 3rd Congressional District.
“I want a congresswoman who will cut through red tape and support our local businesses,” said Mayor Zanni. “We need a strong middle class and solid businesses to support them. I’m impressed with Lori’s background managing a Congressional office and interfacing with regional economic development organizations, along with her leadership experience in business. With these skills I am confident she will be both a a tireless and successful advocate for Methuen and the Merrimack Valley in Washington.”

Today’s announcement represents the first Mayoral endorsement of Trahan’s campaign, and follows recent endorsements from the Teamsters Local 25 in Boston, along with the Lowell delegation of state representatives – Rep. David Nangle, Rep. Tom Golden and Rep. Rady Mom, all Democrats.
