Zanni endorses Trahan in 3rd District race / Eagle Tribune

The Eagle Tribune highlights the endorsement of outgoing Methuen Mayor Stephen Zanni for Lowell native Lori Trahan’s run for Congress:

In a press release declaring his support, Zanni said he wants a congresswoman “who will cut through red tape and support our local businesses,” and touts Trahan as that person.

“We need a strong middle class and solid businesses to support them. I’m impressed with Lori’s background managing a congressional office and interfacing with regional economic development organizations, along with her leadership experience in business,” Zanni said.

The outgoing mayor said he’s confident Trahan would be a “tireless and successful advocate for Methuen and the Merrimack Valley in Washington.”
