Sen. Eldridge endorses Trahan for Congress in MA03

ACTON, Mass. (Oct. 7, 2018) — Democratic state Sen. Jamie Eldridge of Acton today endorsed Lori Trahan, Democrat for Congress in the Third District.

Eldridge, the state senator for the Middlesex and Worcester District, was joined by state Rep. Jen Benson (D-Lunenburg). He said Trahan  is committed to the issues that will continue to move my constituents forward -— investing in education, transportation, and clean energy policies.”

“In her campaign, Lori has also shown a strong commitment to combating income inequality and addressing the economic anxiety felt by so many people who live in the Third CD,” Eldridge said. “That’s why I’ll be working hard to elect her as our next Congresswoman on Tuesday, November 6th.”

Trahan thanked Eldridge for his support and his leadership on the issues of education, economic development, workforce training and combating the corruptive influence of money in politics.

“If there’s anything I’ve learned on this campaign, it’s that Democrats know how to come together to fight for what is important,” Trahan said. “We need leaders in Washington who believe that our economy is strongest when it works for everyone.”
