Trahan’s third TV ad showcases major newspaper endorsements
LOWELL, MA — Lori Trahan, Democrat for Congress, has released her third television ad to showcase her endorsements from the major newspapers in the Third District.
Trahan received the endorsement of The Boston Globe earlier this week. Last week, she was endorsed by the Boston Herald, the Lowell Sun, and the Fitchburg Sentinel & Enterprise.

“Democrats should put up their best.. that’s Lori Trahan,” The Boston Globe said.
The ad also quotes the other endorsements which tout Trahan as the “strongest in her ideas and commitment to the people,” a progressive with an approach “similar to Niki Tsongas,” and “understands the anxiety of living paycheck to paycheck.”
“I’ll always stand up for working people, for seniors, and for treating women with respect,” Trahan says in the ad.
Facing a holiday weekend and with limited time before Tuesday’s primary, Trahan said the ad demonstrates the importance of having the major newspapers in the district unanimous in its support.
“To have four newspapers agree on an endorsement in a field as crowded as this one reinforces my belief that this district is best served by someone who is from this district and fuels our momentum,” said Trahan, a Lowell native now living in Westford. “This is what we’ve been working toward for the last 11 months and now the push is on and we’re ready.”
